For nearly twenty years, Gary Ridgway terrorized the Pacific Northwest and took the lives of more than 49 women. Some of these women were as young as 15 years old. Other victims to this day remain unidentified. After Gary Ridgway was arrested, he agreed to a plea deal that involved giving information in exchange for life in prison. Although this gave the family and investigators some answers, it also still left many questions. He was identified as Gary Leon Ridgway. - Gary Ridgway has been officially charged with 49 murders. - Gary Ridgway agreed to a plea deal in exchange for avoiding the death penalty.
