The Green River Killer was arrested on November 30th, 2001 after a 19-year search that cost $15 Million. The killer was identified as Gary Leon Ridgway.

The Murders

Gary Ridgway plead guilty to 49 murders that took place from 1982-1998. Gary Ridgway confessed to over 70 murders, but could not provide specific information.

The Questions

Questions remain as to the identity of some of Gary's victims, as well as the true number of victims. Gary Ridgway could not recall his first or last murder.
